Clayton County Senior Services Department is excited to announce that we are open for services. Our services have been abbreviated out the of concern for your safety during this COVID-19 Pandemic. Our plan is to fully restore services in phases. Phase 1 is designed to address and serve our most vulnerable seniors first. Please see the list below of our abbreviated services for Phase 1.

Phase 1 is from May 13- June 12

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Clayton County Aging Program

The Aging Program is continuing to provide dental referrals, municipality referrals, legal referrals, general referrals, transportation, food pantry, in-home services, and home delivered meals. If you are a senior aged 60 years and older, please contact our Aging Office at (770) 603-4050.

Frank Bailey Senior Center

Frank Bailey is providing assessments for participants enrolled in the Congregate Program, including meals and supplies (deliveries/pick-up). If you are a member of Frank Bailer Senior Center and have a COVID-19 related need, please call (678) 479-5505. Your needs will be documented and we will provide you with options and provide direct assistance if available. Frank Bailey Senior Center will be providing virtual classes beginning May 26.

J. Charley Griswell Senior Center

J. Charley Griswell Senior Center is providing assessments for participants enrolled in the Congregate Program including meals and supplies (deliveries/pick-up). If you are a member of J. Charley Griswell Senior Center and have a COVID-19 related need, please call (770) 477-3499. Your needs will be documented and we will provide you with options and provide direct assistance if available. J. Charley Griswell Senior Center will be providing virtual classes beginning May 26.

Kinship Care Resource Center

Kinship Resource Center is providing case management and COVID-19 assessments for grandparents enrolled in the program. If you are enrolled in our Kinship Care Program and have a need, please call (770) 473-5788 and someone will assess your situation with the goal being to assist you during this pandemic. If you are not enrolled in the program and would like to be a part of the program, please contact staff and they will be able to assist with enrollment. Kinship Care will be offering virtual classes beginning May 26.
