Clayton County Senior Services is partnering with Faith Medical Services and the Clayton County Youth Services to host a back-to-school bash Saturday, July 24, 2021, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Flint River Community Center, 153 Flint River Road Riverdale, GA 30274. This outdoor event will feature vendors, games, food trucks, and free school supplies while supplies last.  Rain or shine. If there is inclement weather, the event will be a drive-thru. The new Flint River Community Center, located at 153 Flint River Road, Riverdale, Georgia, 30274, opens Monday, March 1, 2021, with limited in-person and virtual classes due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, Clayton County Senior Services Department, and Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department, it is the first intergenerational center of its kind in Clayton County.
